Directions

Navigate to 508 E Washington Ave Unit D, Santa Ana, CA 92701.

When you arrive, you'll see two grey houses. Drive between those two houses and park in the back (your spot is described below). This is Unit D, above the two garage doors facing your parking spot. From your spot, walk left to the stairs between the four garage doors. Go up. Unit D is the door on your right at the top.

Parking

Drive into the driveway between the two grey houses. Drive past the houses — your parking spot is at the very end of the parking lot on the LEFT of the big tree. Look for the spot labeled '508 D'. It's tight to turn into — meant for a small vehicle. Park as close to the wall as possible without blocking the garage doors.

⚠️ Don't park in any other spot. Other spots are for tenants only — your car may be towed. If you have a bigger vehicle or extra cars, use street parking around the block (watch for street-sweeping and permit-only signs — we are not responsible for tickets).

Max parking: 1 car included. Need a second car? Extra parking is $25 per night when available (up to 2 cars total), just text us before you arrive.

Please send us a photo of your vehicle parked in the correct spot so we can register it.

Getting Inside

There is one door, at the top of the stairs, with a Schlage smart lock. Look for the letter "D" and the keypad. Press the Schlage logo to wake it, enter your code, and turn the handle. To lock on your way out, press the Schlage logo.

Your unique door code is sent to you by email or text message on the day of arrival.

If you arrive and haven't received your code, call or text your host right away at 714-794-2566.

House Rules

Keep the AC at 69°F or Above

Please do not lower the AC under 69°. The unit will freeze, and you will be out of AC for your entire stay. We will not be able to get it fixed because we have to schedule an AC company to come out, and it takes a minimum of a week. Please, please, please do not lower it under 69°.

Quiet Hours

10 PM – 8 AM. No loud music or disturbances.

No Smoking

No smoking, vaping, or marijuana anywhere on the property. $300 fee.

No Open Flames

No candles, incense, or other open flames inside.

No Parties

No parties, bachelor/bachelorette stays, or large gatherings. 18+ to book.

Parking

1 car included; a second spot is $25/night when available. Don't park in other spots — your car may be towed.

Pets

Dogs welcome (max 2, $35/pet/night, approved in advance). Service animals and ESAs are exempt from the fee.

How do I get inside?

Your unique door code is sent to you by email or text message on the day of arrival. From your parking spot, walk left to the stairs between the four garage doors, go up, and Unit D is the door on your right at the top. Look for the keypad.

Can I bring a second car?

Yes, when a spot is available: $25 per night, up to 2 cars total. Text us before you arrive so we can reserve it. Otherwise use street parking around the block (watch the street-sweeping and permit signs).

Where do I park?

Is mail delivered?

No. Use a nearby UPS Store or USPS for any mail or packages.

Where is the breaker box?

Behind the TV in the bedroom. If something loses power, flip any switch sitting in the middle fully off, then back on.

How do I set the AC?

Set the fan to Auto and the temperature around 72°F. Please don't go below 69°F or the AC can freeze up. Too cold? Crack a window instead.

The shower isn't getting hot

Run it on cold for 5–10 minutes first to flush the line, then switch to hot and give it a couple more minutes.

Where is the washer/dryer?

The washer/dryer combo is in the bathroom closet. If it won't turn on, check that it's plugged in, then check the breaker behind the bedroom TV.

How does the sofa bed work?

Pull the back of the sofa down and it lays flat into a bed. There's also a queen inflatable mattress if you'd rather use that.

Where does the trash go?

Bins are in the wood enclosure under the porch between the buildings, near the camera by unit 508B next to the pickup truck. They're labeled TRASH.

Can I bring more guests?

Max 4. Anyone not on the reservation is $20 per person per night, so let us know ahead of time.

Can I check in early or check out late?

Yes, for $65 each. Call or text your host at 714-794-2566 to arrange. Unapproved late checkouts are $75 per 30 minutes after 11 AM.

Are pets allowed?

Yes — dogs only, max 2, must be approved before booking, $35 per pet per night. Service animals and ESAs are exempt from the fee.

Before You Leave

Bag all trash and take it to the TRASH enclosure under the porch
Leave used towels in the bathroom (no need to strip the beds)
Turn off all lights and the AC
Close and lock all doors and windows
Check for belongings in the bedrooms, bathroom, and common areas
Out by 11:00 AM — late checkout is $75 per 30 minutes if not pre-arranged

Items left behind can be shipped back at your cost plus a $50 handling fee. We hold them for 5 days.
